The challenge

Most draw systems were built for paper entries and a slow reveal. Vista Golf wanted live giveaways on the site, with a real-time countdown and a winner chosen on the spot from a pool of millions. Every draw also had to be fair enough that anyone could check it.

What we built

    FairDraw

    When the countdown ends, FairDraw generates a 128-bit cryptographic seed and hashes it with SHA-256. It then maps the result directly onto the entry ranges instead of walking the pool name by name. Pools of any size finish in milliseconds.

    Verifiable by anyone

    Every draw publishes its seed. A public verify-and-replay tool lets anyone re-run the math and land on the same winner. Nobody at Vista Golf picks the winner.

    Entries as a business model

    Memberships that accumulate entries, first-month multipliers, a shop and cart with recovery links, and discount codes, all paid through Stripe. Klaviyo and Meta conversions keep marketing in sync.

    Compliance built in

    A free-entry route with no purchase necessary, geo-blocking and per-region legal config, official rules, and a winners page. It's sweepstakes infrastructure that can stand up to scrutiny.
